Types of lenses

There are many different lenses available for motocross goggles. Below the difference between these lenses are explained. The simplest lens is a clear lens, which blocks no sunlight and therefore is recommended for riding under trees or with cloudy weather. For riding in direct sunlight a dark lens (smoke lens) or mirror lens is recommended. These two types of lenses block some of the sunlight so you won’t get blinded by the sun while riding. An additional feature of the mirror lenses is that certain colors are filtered to see more contrast on the track.
